Hi,

Does landlord in Singapore provide moving period to tenants? Like maybe 2 weeks before the actual start of contract and maybe 1 week after the contract ends?

Yep, that's exactly what he means. Occasionally, businesses do as usually there is a period of renovation works being done by the new tenant. However, I doubt seriously in the case of residential properties.

We tried it on, and it didn't work.

Basically, we agreed our "move in" date, and that was that.

Damn annoying as out container was 5 weeks late!

Yes. Thats what I meant, free rent before the actual move-in date.

They don't even consider even a few days?

all depends on the landlord/agent. i was given a few days coz i couldnt move in on the actual date and since the new place was empty, the landlord/agent allow me to move some of my stuff over.
