Favre traded to Jets. Will they win now?
Favre and agent cower away from Pack management and give away chance to go to the SuperBowl (decent chance) with Vikings.

Terms:
The Packers will receive a conditional fourth-round draft pick in the trade, according to the NFL Network. It turns into a third-round pick if he plays in 50 percent of the plays this season, a second-rounder if he plays in 70 percent of the plays and the Jets qualify for the playoffs , and a first-round pick if he plays in 80 percent of the plays and Jets make it to the Super Bowl .

What a fiasco! Am sure both the Packers and Favre are happy to put this media circus behind them and get a move on! But they've definitely injected some buzz into the season! I rooted for the Bears while I was in Chicago, so don't mind this chaos at GB!

This has to be the absolute last thing brett could ever hope for...to be sent to one of the worst teams in the NFL...I dont want to hear about the moves they made this offseason, there still the Jets.
He is going from fighting for SuperBowls to fighting for a Winning season...
So sad.

I agree PH. I think that Favre lost sight of the goal of all this - got overwhelmed and bullied in GB (4 Pack top execs came to his house and beat him down until he said OK to any trade).
NYJ were his last (and recently unacceptable) choice and was the Pack's 1st choice - they really did a job on him and his agent. It will indeed be sad to see him eat grass all season because the running game seems woeful and I don't think the D will do much.
