My almost 6mos old baby would drink Enfamil formula that I brought with us from the US. I tried given him Similac and Friso 1 Comfort, but he refused.

Any mom out there has any suggestion which formula sell here that is similar taste to Enfamil? I can always try out all the brands but thought I ask first.

6 months and baby already on formula? i dont want to tell you to suck eggs but i am sure you know breast milk is the best for the baby.

durian - why don't you keep your opinions to yourself when it comes to breastfeeding. it's getting old. especially coming from someone without lactating breasts.

Yes, every KNOWS VERY WELL that breast milk is the best for the baby. I am still breast feeding him and plan to continue to do so, but I don't have enough and he is drinking more. I am giving him the formula as an add-on. Do you know how it feels when your child is crying for more milk but you don't have enough to give and he wouldn't take any formula? So please, if you can't help then dont' be so quickly judging others.

you will be surprise how many mother stop breastfeeding and move to bottle, because they think it is the right thing to do. i didnt know you are not having enuf for your baby.

the human body is a wonderful thing. your body will keep producing milk as long as the baby require it. increase the number of feeds as this will stimulates you body to produce more milk. once the baby stop sucking, your body will stop producing milk. you need to drink lots and lots to water as your body will need it.

is your baby putting on weight? that is one indication your baby is drinking enuf milk. get your baby weight and compare with the average weight target for the baby age. i have come across mothers who has a masectomy (and chemo) and still able to breastfeed for years. so breast is my top subject (medically, that is).

also. have a look at this... www.lowmilksupply.com and do a google on galactagogues. yes, it is getting a bit long in the tooth but use the bottle as a last resort if you can. good luck.

Enfalac here is the same as Enfamil in the U.S. and Europe. Different regions use different names.
