If you're buying from big Department Stores definitely its going to be expensive. I had an experience with a tailor at Peninsula Plaza only cost me around $65 for 1 long sleeves cuff shirt. But then again it's much cheaper buying Marks & Spencer shirts.

Try Vice Roy shop Level 1 Parkway Parade Shopping Centre on Marine Parade - Local prices and big sizes.
Marks & Spencers have clothes in your size but they are way over priced.
Also somepne said that the Basement of Pennisula Plaza on Northbridge Road has big size casual clothes.

My my..when I saw the title of the thread I thought the author was referring the difficulty in getting something else..

need stuffs like casual shirts... pants.. cargos.... berms.....
Stuffs tailored are just too formal

Queensway shopping center has some big size casual attire shops too..or Factory Outlets have for shirts..Pennsuilar Plaza have for bermudas & nice casual shirts.
Coat & pants my hubby got them talior made, very hard to get them in the shops.

If you don't mind catalog shopping, try the Lands' End catalog. I think I saw them in post offices here.

Make sure you check various Export (Expat
) Fashions around town (Tanglin Mall, Suntec, Holland Village). Their inventory is very 'hit or miss', but they carry lots of larger sizes for men -- worth checking out.
