FNDC: 22nd August at BluJaz Cafe from 8PM

Folks, let's go back to BluJaz Cafe. We had a pretty good time there about 5 or 6 weeks ago, and the drink prices were quite reasonable (for Singapore) with jugs of Tiger going for $20. I'm not sure if the belly dancer will be there tonight, though the Blues-Jazz (go figure) band will be playing downstairs.
Interestingly, I noticed that the whole of Haji lane is closed to traffic from 10PM tonight until Sunday for a wedding! Must be some pretty popular (or influential) people getting married! I'm keen to see what will be going on there. Haji lane is behind BluJaz in the Arab sector, and there's Shisha as far as the lungs can breathe if that's what takes your fancy after a night's drinking.

I think the easiest way to find it, or to tell a taxi driver, is Ophir Road between North Bridge Rd and Beach Rd.

Nearest MRT is Bugis. Walk down Rochor Rd against the traffic, turn left on North Bridge Rd (go past the big Gothic building - Parkview Square - on the right and Raffles Hospital on the left) cross Ophir Rd and turn right - it's about 150 meters down Ophir Rd on the left.
As usual, I've made a booking under FNDC on the balcony on the 2nd floor (1st floor being the ground floor and 2nd the one above that), which is where you'll find us unless it's raining, in which case we'll be inside on the 2nd floor. If you can't find us or need help finding the place, give me a call on 81369224.
