Repairing Eye Glasses

Does anyone have any idea of where I can go to get my eye glasses repaired? One of the arms broke so I figure I need to replace both of them. But the 5-6 stores I went to all said that they do not do repairs of this nature. They are a pair of Face a Face glasses from a few years ago. I just put new lenses in them this year so I'd like to avoid the expense of getting an entirely new pair. Plus I have a very difficult time finding a pair that fits well.

Thanks!

Have you checked on the web to see if this brand was even distributed in Singapore? Unfortunately, unless you can locate a place that actually sells that particular brand, you may either need to purchase a new pair of glasses or go back to where you purchased your pair. I realise this isn't the answer you wanted to hear, but I've been there, done that.

I don't know if they do repairs, but I got my lenses replaced at 15 Mins Optical House in the Lucky Chinatown mall. They did a good job, and it was really cheap, so it might be worth checking out repairs there or maybe a new pair of glasses.

What happened was that the plastic arm cracked. The metal inside is still undamaged so they are usable still. But I'm just worried they will break soon. I had new lenses put in them this year so I'd prefer not to get new ones. In addition my head is pretty wide so it is a huge hassle to find a pair of eyeglasses I like. I know a few years ago when I was looking for a replacement pair, I found out the manufacturer (face a face) doesn't even make this style anymore :(
