New to SIN from Toronto

Hey everyone. Just moved to Singapore in July. So far i'm a bit dissapointed with the city. Where do all the Expat's hang out? All I see is prostitute infested bars and girls with missing teeth that don't leave you alone for a second.
Any social gatherings... Count me in.
