Singapore Expats

Hi Guys and Gals,

As I promised, I'm making a generic post for beach volleyball rather than post one (like I used to) every week. We play every Saturday at Tanjong beach (although occasionally Palawan beach) at Sentosa. For new people reading this thread, you are most welcome to come along regardless of how experienced you are and age isn't a limitation either.

As I mentioned, we play at Tanjong beach. The easiest way to get there is by cab. Tell the driver Tanjong beach - where KM8 bar used to be.

Otherwise, by public transport:

* Take the MRT to Harbourfront.
* Go up through VivoCity to level 2 where you catch the monorail to Sentosa - get off at the last stop (there's only 2) which is Beach Station.
* Take the beach tram (the yellow and green one) to Tanjong beach - it's just past the Dolphin Lagoon. It's the last stop when it turns around and goes back to Beach station.
* Get off in the carpark and walk through to the beach.

Look for a group that has two small fluffy dogs running about and I sometimes bring my red chair as a way of identifying us. If you want my mobile number let me know and I will PM it to you. It's best to let me know if you're coming as I know to look out for you. Also, depending on whether there is an event taking up the entire beach, we may play at Palawan beach. If you give me your number I'll message you to let you know if we've moved.

Also feel free to bring along as many friends as you like, players and non-players. We're a pretty friendly bunch so don't be shy!

Ha! those dogs look like my cat(fluffy persian) also i dont think he would enjoy the beach so much.
