I'm looking for inspiration for Christmas presents for my helper's children.

She has two girls, aged 4 and 9 and one boy, aged 10. I wanted to buy something useful and fun for them all (seperate presents or something for all the family). I have asked my helper for her opinion but she is shy and I think she doesn't want to be cheeky.

Any advice is appreciated.

Are you giving her a 13th month bonus? With that she's sure to buy the children some goodies. But in addition to that I'd give a mix of practical and not-so-practical:

If I were you, I'd go to Song & Song or FOS and buy them some Western brand clothing (at a deep discounts) and get them each a some new toy. Barbies or something for the girls, and Kinex or Legos for the boy. You might even get a Playmobil set they can all share, like the castle or the pirate ship Definitely offer to compensate your helper for the shipping box.

Don't forget a nice gift for her!

Just want to add that the best gift would be to send her home so they can spend Chistmas together

I gave my helper a private phone line in her room so she can contact family in privacy. she is responsible to pay the call charges but I pay line rental and installation.

Could help to give a sense of closeness for her and her kids

I went down..oh my..the display cakes were so fabulous..great looking..
so I ordered 200pcs for my friends and family..the cost is reasonable..with all the designs that i wanted..i got $6 per cupcake..
i am thinking of getting the pink cake that was on display for my girl next year..its so lovely..

A few fun coloring and workbooks so they can learn English...a cross-word puzzle for the older son (10 y.o). I wanted it to be eductaional and fun - so I opted for pencil crayons, markers, and activity books for my helpers's 2 boys, age 7 and 10.

Will also be giving my helper $ for postage.

Just want to say: how generous and thoughtful of you!

I would suggest practical items, like a schoolbag or a wallet/purse(since they might be getting ready for the new school year), or a watch (since they should be learning how to tell time).

But really, a Christmas bonus would definitely be more well-received than anything else!
