Singapore Expats

Hi there,

I'm planning to move to Singapore within the next 4 months and I was interested in knowing if there are any independent filmmakers floating around Singapore who might be interested in forming a filmmaking club?

Nothing fancy actually, just maybe a network to keep us all connected so we can have a way to ask each other about working on our various projects.

If you are a filmmaker in Singapore, is it hard to find people to work with on your projects? Any casting issues?

casting is tough to find good looking guys that can act.
girls are a little bit easier.

Ahh ok. Well I don't really have to have good looking people. Just people who can act. What school are you going to?

Yes this is wonderful. Its good to know that when I make the move, I will still be able to continue making films. I'm making a short film today and tomorrow but I hope to make films more often once I move to Singapore early next year.

I like acting too. But I have not tried that in English.
Pls count me in if you'd like somebody go with you in the weekend, to help, to be an assistant, or just watching and enjoying that together.

For sure. Everyone is welcome. If you want to learn the behind the scenes stuff, that's great too. You can also be in films too, speaking or not. And I'm sure we can do some films not in English. It's all good.

heya, im in as well, i acted quite frequently before coming to singapore and i would love to do it again...im always getting such a strong urge to just go out there and act when sitting in esplanade watching a performance
