My friend (a normal local singaporean) said that expats in singapore are generally rich. Anyone disagree or agree? Just wanna hear your thoughts! feel free to post and comment!

Duh of course not all expats are rich, what about those working as marine time engineerers? My friend is one them and he complains about his shitty salaries all the freaking time.

Strong Eagle, pretty sure an expat is simply a person thats living in a foreign country...thats from what i understand anyway, feel free to correct me if im wrong

That was my point. The OP said "expats were generally rich". yea ive heard about that before...that expats r generally rich...well i dont know if theres a solid definition but i dont think they necessarily have to be rich cuz my family used to be expatriates in chinaStrong Eagle wrote:That was my point.
