Visiting Singapore

good day, i am planning to visit singapore by january to look for a job. currently i am working in Abu Dhabi, UAE for 5 yrs in one of the biggest courier company in the middle east. i work as a operations supervisor and i do lead the customer service team. i also have experienced in IT where my previous job is EDP/Programmer and still i do applied it in my current job. i am Filipino and wanted to pursue my career in Singapore.
can you pls advice if i will have a chance to find a job in singapore? my target is in customer service field.

question: why would you want to work in singapore? with the current economy downturn, there are not a lot of hiring in all sector. if you have a secure job in abu dhabi, i would suggest you keep hold of it until the market is better. the money at the moment is in the middle east.

thanks man for d feedback. actually 1 of d the reasons i want to leave the abu dhabi is some personal issue which is quite complicated. i have lots of known pipz hir who already move in singapore for quite sometimes and it seems dey got d job.
i'm plannin to stay for a week and if i get lucky well i might stay for a while. is a week will be enough at least someone can invite me for interview?
my friend told me those who have experience in mideast have an advantage searching for a job in singapore.
