Guys, any recommendation on (domestic) movers? We want a proper mover and not just guys with muscle and trucks... I've checked the advertised parties on this site, and the Astro is doing international while that Fortuna - nobody picks up the phone.
I've used Shalom, Collins, Elite before and they are quite good but a bit pricey... wonder if there are any other alternatives that is recommended.
Tks.

Try Jenny Movers at
http://jennymovers.com/ . I've used them three times now, and they're cheap, reliable and do a good job. How "proper" a mover do you need though? Jenny'll wrap everything up in plastic for you, but you're still expected to box up all your loose stuff yourself into the boxes they supply in advance -- although I suppose that could be negotiated as well.

jpatokal thanks. I'll give Jenny a try.
Proper is because we have a few articles such as piano and a couple of lcd's that needs proper handling. Our move 4 years ago with man with truck was not so inspiring - they actually dropped our stereo set while it was clearly marked fragile and we have problem claiming the damage... Putting things into boxes are okay with us
Thanks again.

We just used KC Dat (Asian Tigers) to do a local move within Sg and were very happy with them. Our agent (James Boudville -
[email protected]) was great. Questions were answered promptly, guys did a very thorough job... very easy move.
They came in a little higher than the other estimate we received, but they were able to meet our time constraints so we went with them. They also offered 2 hours of complimentary handyman service (hanging pics and such).
Here's the # I have for them: 6261-8118

Hey thanks. I've moved already and used elite. Quite impressed / value for money as they came with 3 big trucks, 14 people, and moved everything within 3 hours.
