any tips on finding people based on old information? my father knew a girl from singapore when he was in college, and he would love for me to track her down and say hi, but all he has is her name from then (she's probably married now) and her address then (she's probably moved). are there any public records at the library or something like that that i could use to find her?

Names here don't change when they get married so a telephone directory? Assuming of course she is still alive and still in Singapore. The only problem with that is people here are mobile now and there is no mobile directory so there is a lot of people who no longer have landlines. This is especially true if they are using cable for TV. Lots have also immigrated.
