Hi All,

I hope everything is going good for those who read my message.
my name is Jeong Haekwon(Ted) and I came from Korea. I am in Singapore to find a job and possibly build a bright future
like you all.
I have spent more than two month in Singapore and the experience has been exciting in its own ways.
The reason that draws me to write this message is that for past few days
I have been juggling around an idea of starting making a social club.
The idea is simple since I am weak in English and I want to increase my knowledge
so I think the best way is to start from making a friends who are different nationallities.
share your thoughts on things which you have in mind.
Well as we all know that by sharing we increase our knowledge base too.
Therefore I think one of the exciting way could be meet up and share the different culture.
It could be general meet up at a coffee shop for an hour and have a simple discussion.
If you agree with my thoughts and want to give a try then please drop an email to me.
I am keeping the place of meeting open for now.
We can narrow it down on a general consensus.
I am excited to meet some persons who have different nationallities,
so what are you waiting for shoot-up a mail to me on what do you feel.
Feel free to let me know your thoughts.

the reason to make a group

1. make a buddy
2. improve our speaking skills
3. share the different culture and information
4. enjoy the Singapore life

below is the my email adress. feel free contact me!

Have you heard of Toastmasters? May be that's what you are looking for. :) Chances are there's a Toastmasters Club near you.

Toastmaters is a very good suggestion,

it is not 'formal' but there is a group that started at East Coast Hawker Center, to eat, meet new people, socialize. Sometimes they turn into Pub Crawls, but mostly it is to meet new people.

English is the common langauge, and you are more than welcome to come and pratice your english.

Our next meeting is at Newton Circus Dec 19th
