Hello,
I am not sure which section to put this in but I will put it here to start. I am coming to work in Singapore on 12/19 and I would like to meet some people that have an entrepreneurial spirit. I have been in Japan the past 2 years and my brain has shrunk from the lack of this type of atmosphere. I am thinking we can meet once a week and have it be a casual place to talk about ideas to spark the creative process. If there is already a group like this I would be interested in going. Let me know what you think. I am open to any suggestions.

Seems quite interesting an idea. Would definitely be up for it. Ideally over coffee, few sheets of paper and pencil ..
Whenever one lives in the same place and does the same job for a while, fresh ideas cease to come at a regular pace. Something great happens when folks sit and brainstorm.

Dear All,
Everyone still here? In view of the strong interest shown in the replies to rgretty's topic, I am thinking of doing a simple get-together at the start to January. Let me know what you guys think.
It is going to be pretty much a meet-the-stranger thing, as we all have not met each other yet, but that should be exciting, i think....
I have spotted this quiet corner at suntec city where we can have some coffee or tea and get to know one another.
Let me know your thoughts pls.

Hello,
wow! way cool. i like the response on this thread. Instead of sitting around wasting time, we might be working towards a lucky break in the future.
We need ideas, capital and just plain energy. Most of us seem to be expats, it would be nice to also get a street smart singaporen on board.
Anyways, enjoy the break folks and let's shoot for a meeting in Jan
