Singapore Expats

My boyfriend is really keen to buy a Play Station 3, but is finding it really hard for find a place that sells it. Are looking to buy it from a big appliance store (not a little gaming place)... could not find it in Challenger Funan, or Audio House, Liang Court.

He's keen to buy it for the Bluray and also for connection to a computer. Is Bluray overrated? I read a few negative things on it here with PS3.

Also looking for Nintendo Wii too.

It's not hard at all - why the need to buy from big appliance store?? It doesn't make any difference where you buy it, as long as you check the local warranty card.

If you're still very paranoid about it, just go to ANY Sony Square (there is one in Funan, another one in Wisma Atria, and I'm sure quite a few more around the city). They are authorized dealers and they definitely sell PS3.

You sometimes can get a better deal buying from game stores in Funan (there are a few there - at least 3 or 4 which are pretty well known) - in terms of additional peripherals or games. I don't think you'll get cheated as long as you stay at Funan side (as opposed to going for SLS).
