hi,

I couldn't come to friday's drinks but look forward to joining some in the new year. Can anyone suggest something to do on xmas day here? I recently arrived and the few i've met have left for xmas hols! Any ideas of good place for waifs and strays?

Thanks,
James

Hey

All my friends have headed back to UK too so I'm looking for something fun to do for Christmas too.. Had thought about a day trip to Batam?

Let me know what ideas come your way.

Rachel and Jim,

I'm in the same boat and a trip to Batam sounds like a fun day... Can i invite myself? :)

Let me know if you're keen.

Pete.

I don't much about Batam either but it's meant to be very Indonesian! Should be an adventure anyhow.

Any time of preference?

Hey all,

Suggest we turn up to Harbourfront for the 10.40/10.50 ferry. I think we need to be there a bit before to go through customs so I'll probably be there around 10.15am. Don't forget passport!

I've no idea what's good, but singapore sling bar was a FNDC venue recently, so i suggest there for a start at least. I'll be there by 9 and will sit by the bar.
