I'm looking for somewhere fairly quiet to celebrate New Years Eve with my boyfriend... we were thinking of going to East Coast Park with a picnic and a bottle of bubbly to watch the flares go off on the ships at New Years.
Are we actually allowed to bring our own alcohol to drink at the ECP though? I'm hoping so!

Shouldn't be a problem, always plenty of bbqs going on with the odd beer being downed!

Sweet idea, celebrating new years at the beach with a bottle of champagne. I can't wait until I can enjoy champagne again =P
But ECP could be pretty crowded on new year's with families holding BBQs...

Hi. I guess I am too late to post a reply. I'm a local so if you need to ask anything. I can help. Hee....
There are no restrictions at all. Bring your own food, your own alcohol. Enjoy your stay in Singapore.
