Early Childhood Health

Can anyone help?
In Australia I would regularly go to see a midwife at the Early Childhood Centre where they would do weight, size checks, assess developmental milestones and answer questions/queries etc. Is there anything similar to that here? I have a 7 month old and just want to have a basic assessment but do not really need to see a GP.
Thanks

hi
I asked the same question last month, got some great response. My subject was 'maternity health check & immunisation'.

Perfect, thank you! Did you go to the clinic? How was it?

Hi
No, i haven't. My husband's colleague recommended thomson medical centre.
I know there is a kids clinic near Toa Payoh central, close to where i live so i may even try there.
I have to do some research first, not sure whether the 4 in 1 vaccination is available here and also how much etc. My 6mth old is due to have his immunisation done next week.
How old is your little one and which part of Australia are you from?

Hi
My little one is 7 months, I got her 6 month jabs done when we were back in Aus for Christmas so will have to worry about that for her 12 month ones and my oldest 4 year ones! I have been told that the medical centre at Tanglin Shopping Centre does the jabs for whatever country you want (at a price!)
We are from Sydney - you?
