I'm looking for a good therapist who can do Social Skills training or Behavior Modification Therapy for a six year old child with a mild form of autism. Any suggestions?

we've used Kaleidoscope Therapy Centre and were happy with the therapists there. They have a website at www.kaleidoscope.com.sg Have also attended talks on parents helping their kids by Vanessa Von Auer - psychologist specialising in autism. Not sure where she's based but if you google I'm sure you could track her down. If she doesn't run groups herself, she can probably point you in the right direction.

My son goes to Vanessa Von Auer's psychology centre and has been for a year. We are very pleased with his progress. They moved near Holland Village. The office number is 6235-9602 if you need it. :)

I should have thought of this last time I posted. Doh! Have a look at www.iapsg.com and go to the List of Professionals. This isn't an exhaustive list of everyone out there but these are doctors/therapists that members have used in the past and been happy to recommend to other families. It may not be bang up to date but it'll give you some starting points.
