I am thinking of changing my old X Box 360 to a new Elite version.

What would happen to the multiplayer points saved on my user profile ? Are these stored on the current hard disk or on the actual profile ?

gotta be centrally stored, otherwise you wouldn't be able to see other players achievements while they're off line.
