New to the forum, 22/m/australian, in town for a few weeks working, just wondering if anyone could suggest a few clubs where other young expats hang out/ drink and dance.
Definitely heading out this friday/ saturday and into Chinese New year if the hangovers don't kill me, if anyone is in the mood?
If this has all been covered a 1000 times before i apologize.

G'day traveler1234 and welcome to the boards and Singapore!
Keep an eye on the WNDC and FNDC (Wednesday and Friday Night Drinking Clubs) threads - that will be a start for you.
Time Out Singapore has a weekly e-nmail update which has a section on clubs - google it and you may find something useful there.
Cheers, Mr. P

Hi,
the general area is normally Clarke Quay, but also heaps of other places that have seemed to escape my mind right now! just keep an eye on the forum, theres always things happening.
If you're here for Australia Day, there are 3 parties that i know of:
one is at the Prince of Wales pub in Little india (101 Dunlop st) Check their website for details -
www.pow.com.sg
one is at Boomarang at Robertson walk which also has a game of Lawn bowls happening if you're that way inclined! a free bbq there also i think. (
www.boomarang.com.sg)
and then there is Howl at the moon which is on Orchard rd (howlatthemoon.com.sg) which has a great live band which incorporates comedy into their music as well.
hope this helps.

Different clubs attracts different kind of people.
if you want to be safe then go to Clarke Quay since they've alot of bars and a few clubs so you can hop into another place if you feel like the one your in is crappy.
purely based on personal observation about clubs.
dbl O ( along robertson walk if im not wrong ) has cheap drinks, 95% locals.
Zirca ( not too sure yet since i've not been there but heard its a good mix of expats and locals )
zouk ( resonable mixture of expats and locals)
attica ( about 75% expats? )
so depending on where and what kind of crowd you like
drinking places, personally I like BQ and km8 ( beach in sentosa )
so you could always try out one club a week and judge!
always fun to try out new places.

all of the above mentioned by Melasony are really good choices.
Add to that, the arena is good as well.
you'd generally see lots of expats at the clubs on wednesdays (because its ladies nights) and weekends.
