Advice needed on bringing partner to Singapore

Hi there,
I would appreciate some advice on this this.
There is a good chance that I may be moving to Singapore on secondment for 2 years from Scotland with an option of extending to 6 years.
I am trying to do some research on the possibility of my partner coming out with me. We are not married, she currently works as a qualified Child Carer/ Nursery Nurse and has been doing so for the last 15 years or so. I've read many topics regarding the issue of work passes & LTSVP's and I think it may be a problem for my partner to get a job in her profession in Singapore and also due to her coming from a European country.
Is this true ?. Is it worth taking a gamble and bringing her out with me with the possibility of her staying longer than the 3 months (I think) as stated on government websites and finding work in her career ?.
I'm somewhat confused on this and would welcome advice.
Thank you
