IMHO doesn't mean anything. why? even though the asian family is usually matriachal, the westernised asian country in most professional settings are patriachal, therefore you have an issue of double realities. women aren't just women any more. they are more than that. the amount of roles women have to play in society is just amazing. she is a colleague, mother, sister, lover, the list goes on ad nauseum.
so there, i'm just interested in the whole issue of the different meanings perceived when a woman and how it feels like for them,
1. puts up her picture
2. gets picked up
just to list a few, because i think sometimes men just don't get it. why you ask? simply to understand them better. how is it that we're supposed to work together and move forward as equals on most fronts when we're constantly battling the sexes?
