Try the Popiah at Toa Payoh Lorong 7 Hawker Centre. Not only there's 1 stall that is good, but few more other food stalls also recommended.

Qi Ji in the basement/car park food court (!) of Sim Lim is grotty but good. They now have a bright and airy outlet near Bugis as well, which is twice the price and half as good.

Not bad at all

I am totally addicted to the self-roll gourmet popiah at lao beijing at Plaza Singapura - fantastic stuff and can't get enough of it. One tip on eating popiah...dun pile too much on the roll, and squeeze dry the usually soggy veggie mix before attempting ..the Roll!
