Hello!

I've just moved here like a week ago or so from Toronto .. I'm burmese .. got my finance degree from Canada and also got 2 yrs banking experience with one of the largerest invesment banks in the world... plus some other experiences...So I've got some interviews going on here... Can anyone shed some light on what would be the average salary for a senior associate or team lead in a global firm?? Any advice would be great as well..

Thanks a million in advance..

Got your millions in bailout bonuses and ran did you?

Singapore isn't a big fan of N.American style bonuses so you might be in for a rude awakening.

I will be starting work soon at an Indian Financial Services company which has just set up shop here in SG. Just wondering approximately what the average salaries should be for a junior trader (equities/commodities). I still have to negotiate my package and wanted to have a better idea of how much to expect.

You mean it only services Indians? Or it only deals in Indian commodities? If neither then why say it's an Indian company? Sorry, we don't have any track record of salary offerings during deep recessions. This is currently uncharted territory here.
