Singapore Expats

Hi everyone,

I got a job offer from Nanyang Technological Uni, but since I do not live nearby an MRT station, I am trying to find out how to get there other than taking public buses because this would result in about 3 hours of commuting per day.

Does anyone have information on companies that would provide chartered buses from Bukit Timah?

Probably too late for you now. But NTU has private buses for staff that drop them at Buona Vista MRT at the end of the day. That is pretty close to Bukit Timah.

Have you bought a car yet? Heheh...

I was just in NTU last week for a meeting and boy, that place is quite tucked in the far southwest corner! Thought of doing a Phd there, but now I think I'd have to get a car first. Else I'd probably be skipping class a lot.
