This upcoming event is still a few weekends away, but there may be a need to purchase tickets early, so I am posting now.

Had a look and the movie looks interesting. I'm in for the saturday movie. Can you count me in if you're organising anything? Let me know if you need assistance in planning too.

The 19th European Union film festival is also on (7-17 may). Check out the movie screenings from the various EU countries on www.euff.sg.

haven't heard from mrAlek yet as yet but for sure lets catch up over a good film. Movie starts 730pm so I say we'll meet around 7-715pm?
However, if we're grabbing a small bite before the show (if interested), then we'll probably meet slightly earlier?

Sorry for my absence on this post. My attention has been elsewhere.

Glad to see of the interest for the film on Saturday. It looks like there are 4-5 of us here who will be attending, and there is another few people that I know plan to attend. It should be a good group.

I suggest meeting around 7PM outside the Gallery Theatre at the National Museum. Someone suggested having dinner beforehand. That is a good idea. Any suggestions? I will leave the dinner planning to someone else...

It is looking good. There is quite a group of us by now. Six from this forum, plus three others from a Facebook activity group.

We should be conspicuous standing outside the theatre around 7:15 PM. But just in case, I will say that I am a youngish-looking American, middle height, with shortish blond hair and glasses.

Has anyone had trouble getting tickets? I hope not.

(maybe we can plan on getting coffee/tea after the film -- if so desired)

Yes, thank you all for attending. It was nice to meet everyone. We had a good group -- about nine people. I think we all enjoyed the film and the theatre. It was then nice to go speak for a while over dessert.

Let's try to meetup again sometime soon. Anyone with any ideas of things they would like to do or see in Singapore, please feel free to post a plan here on the forum. I am fairly new to the forum, but I have found that making a specific plan for an event with a time, date, location, and brief description of yourself helps to 'bring out a crowd'.
