Singapore Expats

Can anyone recommened a good gynecologist? We just moved here from India and my wife is pregnant. She is looking for someone that expats would use and prefers a woman doctor.

Dr. Yeo Motoko (very nice, all people in her ordination are very nice and helpful) - Paragon


Dr. Ann Tan (has a lot of patients - u will wait very long for an appointment) - ME Hospital

= both a little bit expensive

My Gynaecologist is Dr Joan Thong Pao-Wen @ Raffles, I was referred to her by the GP who's 2 children were delivered by Dr Thong. She is well known and respected and I've been really happy with her.

Also I was recently told of this blog that was created to gather feedback on Obstetricians and Gynaecologists in Singapore

I would recommend Dr Denas Chandra, his clinic is in Aljunied and he also sees in East Shore Hospital.

I've been having long term menstrual disorder and when i came to SG my relative referred me to Dr Lee Wei Hong at Paragon Pacific Healthcare.

He's very thorough and did detailed blood test and found out that the problem actually started with a growth that grew on my brain.

And all these while Gynaes that i've been seeing before told me to take contraceptive pill to regulate the menses.

Now my periods are coming in more regularly though i need to still see him for long term theraphy.

His charges are quite steep but worth it. =)

I use a fabulous lady Dr Shirin Jacob. A company for women @ Camden Medical, she is just brilliant - I wouldn't see anyone else

I am seeing Dr. Geraldine Tan at TMC. She is a very nice lady, makes you feel very comfortable.

Dr Lisa Chin of Gleneagles Hospital is very, very experienced. Even pregnant doctors go to Dr Chin for delivery of their babies. Only problem is that it might be difficult to get an appointment with her as she is so popular/good.
