Ok guys so I am going to start this diet tomorrow. I arrived in Singapore slightly over a month ago and have piled on the pounds probably due to food intake amongst other things. I have started to lower that and I am interested in trying the master cleanse to basically test my willpower and also see what it does.
Main Ingredients for the Master Cleanse Recipe
Pure Filtered Water
Grade B Organic Maple Syrup, Formaldehyde free
Organic Cayenne Pepper
Organic Lemons
Sea salt - Unrefined, (Not iodized) or Epsom Salt
Optional Ingredients:
Laxative tea
Natural Herbal Tea (decaffeinated)
Apparently organic honey can also be used. Does anyone know where I can get Organic maple syrup? What is a good reliable north american type supermarket where i would find familiar prodicts.. NTUC is bull so anything better, be a nice one stop shop for me?

Sermon:
If the amount of calories you eat is less than the amount of calories you consume, you will lose weight. It makes
absolutely no difference if you get those calories through "Grade B Organic Maple Syrup" (apparently only the 2nd best is good enough?), cheeseburgers, or snake tails.
And answer:
I'd be surprised if they don't have any in the organic department at Jason's Marketplace in Raffles City. Needless to say it'll cost you an arm and a leg though...

I was wary about posting when I saw some of the goings on in this part of the forum. Uneccessary comments etc. but whatever.
I am aware of how calories work btw and thanks for the tip on Jason's I will check it out.

Believe me, if you are going to do a diet like that, my comments are far from unnecessary........
Hope you don't suffer from sensitive teeth.

Uh.. May i suggest a solution to the "sensitive teeth" bit? Well, u could try using a straw so the liquid will bypass yr teeth, or most of it anyways, and reduce whatever damage it may do to em, if any.
Would love to hear how the diet's going.
Good luck!

jdaniel. i have tried many diets too, and although you lose weight quickly, you gain weight very quickly too after you go back to normal eating patterns.
i was just on a very low calorie diet and combined with gym 6 days a week, and then this week, i blew it all as i went into a mad craving for carbs..and now i have added more weight on that when i first started.
just be careful if you want to continue....or it can backfire like me
good luck.

Hi all, I think these diets you mentioned above are not the right way to lose weight for long time. If you let your body starving for some time, of course you will lose some weight. But how long can you do it? Once you will come back to your usually menu, you will gain much faster and easier than before. Your body remembers you let it starving and will prepare for next diet with gaining more fat to survive.
The only way is to start to live and eat healthier food all the time. Think about what are you eating before you do so. Go more raw food like vegetable, fruit, sprouts etc. If you google raw food you will get many links about this diet. You don't have to go 100% raw, but try to observe for few days how many % of your food is raw fruit or vegetable. It will give you more energy, better thinking, keep you healthy without drugs. The worse are snacks, full of bad fat and sugars. Of course you have to start to exercise a bit too.
So stop torture your bodies and start to live.
