For lunch, I had been eating a sandwich or salad (or even cereals :oops:) at my desk in office until one of my team members started this new trend of hitting new places to have nice lunch breaks..

Considering that we are quite close to become ultimate food junkies, we would like to know some of your favourite places for lunch break
(Wait!! Kopitiam will not be counted)

Here is ours list:

1. The Sandwich Shop
2. Munch
3. Cedele
4. Soups n Spoons
5. O'Briens Irish Sandwich Bars
6. Turkish Restaurant@City Hall.
7. Organic Xperience@Orchard
.
.
.
10000000000000000. Subway!!!

Please suggest some more nice sandwich/wraps or salad bars as well because some of our mates in group are fitness freaks, so we are forced to eat some healthy crap now n then :) )

Nothing is wrong with Subway..
But i have been kinda banned by my "awesomely" critical teammates to eat it for quite some time..
The reason? 'coz subway is just below my office building and the place where I live.. so I have been grabbing a sub and eating it at my desk from past 1+ year.. Well, I think that i have eaten it like twice a day sometimes..
(Now, I am sure you might be taking my friends's side to criticize and ban me from eating subs?)

so you guys just eat sandwiches/salads only for your lunch?
There are lot of restaurants in town area for different cuisines.
Where do you guys work? I may join you guys if you are working in CBD area..
It would be nice to make "Lunch buddies" kind of group.
and yes, your friends are right in banning you from eating Subway.. its like you have almost endorsed the brand by eating all the time. :D

It's (subway) a lot healthier than most other fare out there be it restaurant or hawker centre.

ok i get it now. Well i have to agree with your friend, forget subway for a few weeks at least. Beauty of life is in diversity, so many different food to taste, it's a shame to always eat the same stuff.
But i agree with SMS, some ob Subway sandwich are much more healthier than local hawker center (specially vs all the deep fried food)

@Inferno:
No, we dont eat just sandwiches/salads.. we eat all kinda stuff
Thai (without chillies), Indian, Japanese, Vietnamese.. blah blah etc..
but I dont think that i can eat anything in hawker centres or Kopitiam.. Just my preference!! Moreover, i dont like very spicy or chilli food so i have less options here.

@sstoner:
Thanks a lot for the link. That seems to be a very nice place. We will certainly hit that place ;)

@OogieBoogie/sundaymorningstaple:
I agree. Thats the only healthier choice i have near my office.. specially when i am running out of time.
