Singapore Expats

Hello,
Anyone currently living in city square? or know someone who lives there. Wouldn't mind a few opinions from people who are staying there before we make a decision...

What type of info are you looking for? Are you happy with the area and it is just the condo?
From what I have seen of the condo, it looks nice enough. As a neighbour I don't like that people hang their washing in their windows. It seems that there is no drying area in the units. I like living in the neighbourhood - it is central and easy to get to. The shopping centre opening next door in Dec will make finding "western" type food much easier.

Just moved in there.
Aside from the location all seems ok.
Very large condo, obviously, so pool tends to be busy.
Having looked around a lot though you get far more for your money i.e. got a 3 bed here for less than a 2 bed at many others in better location.
Quality inside apartment is good too.

I live next to it in a different condo. Anything I can help with?

I love the neighborhood and when the mall is open the mrt will be right quick.

Also, we oddly seem to have some of the best hawker centers in sing in our area. Doubly so if you like Indian food.

Also borders the infamous alley on Petain if you like to sample the fish. <kidding>

I'm living nearby in a brand new condo, but I took a look at City Square as well. It is quite a big condo and if you are high enough and on the right side, you have a really great view on the city. Unfortunally on the wrong side of the condo you have a construction yard and all the noises that come with it. Also, since City Square is just in spitting distance of Mustafa center, it can be quite noisy if you open your window in the evening. And since it is a rather big complex the facilities are rather full. From the inside, the apartments I have seen are all very nice so I would recommend it. The reason I chose another condo nearby was the price (I really got a good deal on my place), more privacy (smaller Condo, not so many people using the facilities) and it is very quite... and just as far from the MRT as City Square.

Actually the construction side is almost completely gone. Soon it will be a nice big park.

Agreed about Mustafa. If you were on a low floor on the mustafa side it might be a little busy.
