Recently saw "Waitress" on cable. Video EZY has some good rentals as well such as "Far North", "Penelope", "Red Belt",...

theres an indie film showing

screening of the indie film, Sanglaan (The Pawnshop), one of the finalists at the 2009 Cinemalaya Film Festival, at the Sinema Old School beginning August 6. The screening dates and times are:

06 August, Friday, 6.30pm & 8.30pm
13 August, Friday, 6.30pm & 8.30pm
15 August, Sunday, 3.00pm
20 August, Friday, 5.00pm
27 August, Friday, 5.00pm

Speaking of indie movies, anyone know where I can see Four Lions?

Been wanting to see it since I heard about it. I've also tried looking into extra-legal means but yielded no results so I'm back to the right side of the law.

more and more Indie films are being produce as all of the films have their own story to tell, and characters to play..
