would anybody be interested in cycling from east coast park mcdonalds to changi beach (and back) on 13th June? Details as follows:

Gathering + bike rental time: 1615-1630
Push off: 1645
Route: http://www.mapmyride.com/ride/singapore ... 3166574773
Type: All bike path. We wont hit the road, so don't be afraid of that.
Rental costs: should be about $10 for 2 hours.

we will stop at changi beach and have some refreshments and ride back to ECP for dinner (a lot of choices for everyone).

The highlight of the ride for me is the drive along the changi runway. Awesome to see big birds. Most people enjoy the aqua blue waters once we leave the crowded parts of East coast park.

You don't need to be lance to participate, so pls come n enjoy with us.

Those of us who have bikes and wanna ride to East Coast from your house, do let me know also. I will be riding from Orchard area, so will be good to have company!

We are 4 already. I think we shold cap this at 12 ppl (too crowded after that?)

Hello akhild,

I am very interested but I dont know if I'm up for it. I just started cycling after stopping for ten years. I've been cycling consistently over the past weeks but still... not too good during the start. :( But once I'm on it I can control pretty ok.

Let me know if you are willing to take in someone kinda amateurish!?

Coolio I'll be there. Where is the exact meeting point? McDonald's?

I do not own a bike so I'll rent one there.

Hmm..Is this an overnight cycling?
From past experience, if you were to cycle from ECP to Changi Beach, and return back, it might take a few hours. Renting bike at nearly to 5pm, I guess you all need to rent it overnight, if not, wont be able to make it on time...

why don't you start 2 hours earlier then?
If the highlight of the trip is Changi Beach, that would be a shame to miss it because you start too late.
