cooking courses?

I was wondering if anyone knew of any cooking course program to learn some authentic singaporean dishes, that were good and at moderate prices? Maybe a course that lasts more than one evening?
would appreciate any info

quite easy: jut go to the nearest Community Club! There's a lot of cooking class there, and it's very cheap.

but most baking/cooking course in CC dont provide hands on.

Alternatively, you can make friends with some locals who can cook and maybe they'll teach you.

Perhaps you can learn from my mum , she aint a teacher or what. But she cook fantastic dishes. Esp peranakan dishes !

You can check out this peranankan lady's website
www.grandmothersrecipes.com.sg for cooking lessons. They are hosted in her very cosy home and she's very friendly too. Lemme know if you are going and I might just be able to join in too

There is also a cooking course in my links page below. It's designed for domestic help but may include local dishes. A phone call is all it would take to find out.

I took a cooking lesson at Cookery Magic which was fantastic! She teaches out of her home and has classes on Singaporean, Thai and Indian dishes.
