I am Bored - Need suggestions for the weekend!

I am
bored out of my mind and don't have a clue what I am going to do over the weekend. Any suggestions apart from the below most welcome.
1) Watching TV/renting DVDs
2) Shopping
3) Going for "long" drives within Singapore
4) Going for a movie
5) Pubbing

i am just going to the gym to kill time...so quite healthy really.

day trip to Malaysia or Indonesia.
Cable wake boarding at ECP.
hire a sail boat/sailboard at ECP.

Orchard Towers is not really an option as I am "happily" married
Was thinking of driving up to Malaysia but the damn flu going around made me change my mind...Have no family here either to hang out with...a few friends but most are out of town now...
I guess the gym/getting drink options are the only ones left

Take a look at the events, gatherings and making friends post. There are always people looking for partners. Today (Sat) we're playing volleyball at Sentosa - Siloso beach - 4pm. Even if you don't play, come out, meet new people and have a drink (alcoholic or not - your choice).
Also get hold of TimeOut magazine. Lots of things listed in there.

head to pula ubin for cycling trip
it's a nice place for a weekend getaway.
ferry $2 one-way
rental of bicycle $5-$8 for the whole day
seafood lunch $10-$30

How about pursuing a hobby? Eg: Photography... lotsa nice things for photograph taking here.
Usually outdoorsy places (\central area) are not as crowded as well.

mmmm... me too super bored.
how about organise a picnic? book a holiday resort chalet for the weekend? baking? take up a class/course? go to museums - they have ongoing exhibitions and activities (e.g. night festival this weekend).

or you can do some volunteer work
