Singapore Expats

My UK friend is keen send me his (2008) Mercedes. But I am currently working in Singapore, so would like to find out the procedures , taxes and how to bring it into Singapore?

Anyone has any experiences or information about importing used car from UK into Singapore?

Whether it's worth doing it" Is the tax, shipping costs and procedures are too complicated?

one question, why one would want to import a 2008 mercedes from UK to Singapore? Is it a very special car or something?
It's just that if you don't know if it's interesting economically speaking, why do you even think about doing it in the first place? (I'm just curious)
