Singapore Expats

hi.

we are moving here in december.

I have a maid( indonesian) who's been a great help to us with our kids and i plan to bring her here to singapore to continue her stint.

has anyone here done that before?


How do i do proceed with the application for her?

I believe first of all, you have to go to MOM website and see if your maid fulfills the requirements to come to work as a maid here. There will be monthly levy payable for keeping a maid in Singapore in case you dont know.
I am not sure if she can come with you together. But usually you have to do the application while you are in Singapore, then the approval letter acts as a Visa for your maid to step into Singapore.
In fact all info is on www.mom.gov.sg ..just look under the "foreign Domestic Worker" column.
