Would not the Police be a better bet then? They have the resources and manpower to deal with something like that. Or is this only a suspicion?

I agree with you completely, the other family however have freaked out and left singapore and all we know is she has a new family. This is the only forum we thought would reach enough expats to find the family and then we will know her agency and they will go to the police. This is really the only format we thought would reach enough people in the community. Not the most conventional way i agree.
