Where is GOOGLE TRANSIT.

Google transit is in most major cities and on many mobile devices via app or web. I can easily understand my next options while walking down the street or when I get ready to leave my condo.

Come on SBS/SMRT open up to Google Transit, far superior way of traveling, and in my opinion would incourage more usage.

In the mean time, where can I find maps of fixed bus routes, since their route listings mean nothing to me as I don't know the areas / streets served.

How does a new arrival get around when they move to your home city?

http://www.sbstransit.com.sg/journeyplan/step1.aspx

Buy a Street Directory at any bus terminal or mrt terminal. it only costs $2.50.

Alternatively you can try http://www.gothere.sg which allows you to choose your mode of transport and gives your rough travel times which are rather accurate.
