Hi I'm 25 and new to Singapore. Been here a couple of weeks already for work and going to be here another 6-7 weeks more, with the potential to come back for longer.

So in saying that anyone up to hang out? I'm up for drinks, coffee, movie buddies (i miss the cinemas!!!) and clubbing....and all those other things like playing sports (I play squash but have played most others), hitting the gym or going for a run and chilling by the beach.

So heaps of things to do just no one to hang with!

Hi KiwiVik,

I am a 29 yr old guy from the UK who moved to Singapore about 2 weeks ago. As I don't know anyone here, I am also looking to meet people.

Your post sounded v.interesting so thought I'd drop you a reply.

Let me know if you fancy getting in contact.

Hi All,

Yeah going for a movie/chilling out sounds good to me. I can make either Friday or Saturday evening. I'm still trying to find my way around Singapore so if anyone has any recommendations of places to meet, let me know and I'll be there!!

Thxs

I agree, i think since Friday most people are working then it will be a good idea to chill out with a few drinks and a movie.
I'm not too fussed what movie, comedy sounds good.

I have no idea where Holland Village is? How close is everyone from Suntec City? or Clark Quay? Its like the only two places I know at the moment but i'm sure i can find my way around - Taxi!! :P

Morning guys~

yea, let's meet somewhere in town Friday night. Guess everyone knows Clark Quay. Holland village could wait for next time (it's near Buona Vista mrt).

We can go to Cathay theater @Dhoby Ghaut for Movie, then head to Clark Quay for drinks.

I will get off work early this Friday. I can buy tickets (or we can book online in advance).

PM or email me ([email protected]) if you have any suggestions!!!!

Cheers,

Yang

If we are going to a movie can we make it sometime around 7 on Friday to be safe? I generally finish around 6:30 and last Friday the traffic was terrible!

I guess once the people who want to come to the movie settle on one, then we will have a more set time on when we will finish and can meet the others for the drinks portion of the night.
