Just arrived 5 weeks ago. Have met a few people but it would be nice to chat about home. I have a 5 year old boy in school all day and a 22 month girl.

You might consider joining the American Women's Association--they have a lot going on all the time. They have volunteer opportunities, hobby groups, play groups for moms with little ones your age, classes, group outings, etc...you should be able to find something to interest you there, and you will meet lots of American women, naturally.

I am an American of Asian origin. I am 37 yrs old. I have 2 kids a 5 yr old and an 8 yr old. I am also looking to meet other American moms here and making new friends .

I love going to the library, book stores, coffee shops etc.
