It seems that somebody wants to give some support, but they cannot go further because of the term 'quality' . I understood the meaning is subjective .So let me put it in this way,

Fact of life is, many -- probably most -- Singaporean Chinese women are unwilling to date an Indian guy. But there are exceptions out there, and most expats also have more open horizons.

I was approached by a different women a few times in chimjes on saturday night and this seemed to be the going rate range for singapore women.

A few tips get rid of the mo if you got one, it aint very common in local men so its a good indication of whats considered attractive by local women. There seems to be a disproportiante amount of indian men with mo's. My missues said anyopne with a mo looks like like d grade porn stars which reminded me to ask how she knew that. On a subconcious level I saw a show (western culture) which said people believe anyone with facial hair is hiding something and women often associate with low class / poorer people (bums, backpackers, poorer people in general) which is a turn off. Also with the rise of terrorism there is a lot of association with terrorists etc . All subconciously of course.

Secondly get rid of the effiminate metrosexual gear which I see a lot of indian guys out and about with cash wearing. Being a man never goes out of fashion. Your aim is to find a partner not a shopping friend.

Thirdly interact and have some balls to make conversation. Everything starts from small beginings but as they say in the lottory you have to have a ticket to have a chance to win.

good points. most of my singaporean chinese friends do not fancy hairy men. they like their guys clean cut, shaved, etc.

still, this is not to say that you go to town on that razor. shouldn't compromise yourself that much to get a date.

get rid of all (if not most) chains, rings, necklaces and what have yous. just screams tacky to most of us girls.

do not act like you're ~in da hood~ or ~we be pimpin'~ i'm serious. ive come across numerous indian guys who think they're black.

This is one of those questions where if you have to ask, you'll never know.

Tip number 1: talk to them. go to a bar (not OT) have a few drinks and start a conversation. Don't pretend to be someone you're not, girls are smart enough to see through this. . . or atleast the quality ones are.

Tip number 2: DO NOT USE CHEESY PICK UP LINES. . . unless you happen to be an inherintly funny guy and can do it while making the girl laugh. Just say hello and ask a socially acceptable question, a good one for expats is "where are you from", "how long have you been in Singapore", "Do you shag on the first date" etc. The just follow the conversation where it goes. Insulting the British always seems like a good ice breaker too (yes, i'm Australian )

Tip number 3: If you go out to a bar with a male indian friend, don't hold his hand or put your arm around him. This may be normal behaviour in India, but in the rest of the world it's considered a bit weird.

Tip number 4: Talk to girls in groups of two. They're the ones that are looking to meet guys. Girls in big groups are on girls nights and aren't really looking to hook up, girls on their own are prostitutes or are waiting for their boyfriend to get back from the toilet (not good to be talking to her when he comes back. . . especially if he's a big bastard)
