looking for a English language course/workshop/mate

I need a constant English speaking practice which I don't have in my working environment and at home. English speaking friends just listen and understand whatever I say, but I get shy talking to new people if they seems to be not having a clue what I'm talking about.

I'm not sure what kind of language practice could it be... a teacher in a language school or a mate, who is able to correct my mistakes or maybe a course on pronunciation and speaking?

Maybe anyone could advise me on how can I improve my English speaking skills?

I also looked for a topic on a good English language school in the forum but could not find any. Do you know a good language school with English native teachers?

Have you considered the British Council?

They offer General and Business English courses for Adults

Potential students could undertake free language consultations including a short test and interview to assess their level of English. This would aid in the selection of the appropriate course . . .
