How to deal with it ?
If some collegues want to play office politics with you?

Don't get involve with it unless you want complications or trouble later. It's still best to have no strings attached with anyone in the office.

Who writes stays and otherwise dont stick your neck out too much

From a bosses point of view, first understanding why office politics exists. When the work is complex enough to require different disciplines/ expertise/ experience, where some people have been designated with responsibilities they cannot perform, where there is no quantifiable measurement of individual performance.
From an employee's point of view, keep the credit for the work that you do. Be very clear who your boss is and who your colleagues are. Never do your colleagues work for them, instead reference them to the literature that they can educate themselves with. Always confirm with your boss before taking on work and keep your boss updated on the progress. Attend all meetings/ social events you are invited to.
For bosses, select staff who are qualified and capable and educate your staff on the above. Remove non performing staff and the politics will vanish from your workplace.
For staff, if your boss is unresponsive, he/she may be the inept one. Your only option is to look for a better position.
