Singapore Expats

Guys, while many of you are familiar with Boat Quay and Clarke Quay, which are largely crowded and largely advertised in every media, there are some other places in Singapore with pubs that are pretty cool.

Anyone would be interested to chill out at a pub, which serves beer at a reasonable price, yet what you get is a live band playing great oldies ?
This is a place off business districts, location is very good as it is just next to a MRT station and Bus Interchange. And it is good for those who just joined Singapore and don't mind learning taking public transport to leave the overly crowded business areas, I can recommend such a wonderful place.

What are the details, and how do I get there.

I arrived 2 weeks ago and so far the only place I have found to have few beers is the Prince of Wales, not a bad place but keen to expand my drinking venues.
