Street Cha Cha, Bachata & Merengue is back for the next in-take from 18 Nov 09. Here is another way to keep yourself fit in an enjoyable way - Street Latin Trio!
Date : 18 Nov 09 to 6 Jan 10 (Every Wednesday)
Time : 7.45pm - 9.15pm - 1.5hr per session
Venue : Comcentre, B2 - Activity Room, Singtel Bldg., Somerset
Fees : $25.00 each (Member & Partner)
$30.00 each (Guest)

About the Dance
Street Cha Cha is a lively and sassy social dance. The dance patterns have some striking similarities to Salsa. However, it is danced with two slower steps and a quick triple step to four music beats. The music is slower than salsa’s but very fun and catchy with that unmistakable Cha Cha rhythm.
Merengue is the national dance of the Dominican Republic. It is a dance that is fun and easy to learn. The dance has a young and energetic style and is considered a salsa-cousin dance as it is often played in salsa clubs.
Bachata is characterised by its smooth and flowing movements accented by a naughty hip movement. It is both a sensual and romantic yet fun dance that is simple to learn and enjoy.
