We just moved to Singapore a month ago and quite struggle to have our maid/nanny who works with us for 4 years to be with us taking care my daughter (5) and (2) here. Since her English is not good so I am worried that she will fail the test and will sent back to Thailand. Any recommendation to have her here with less struggle?

you can always get her exempt from the test. Our was exempt and only took the orientation course, but not the test. It just meant her application took a little longer for approval.

thank you so much for your advice. Please kindly advise more how to deal with the officer to get the exempt. Any process that I have to follow?

If you search "bringing maid/helper over" - this topic has been covered a few times in detail. You write a letter of appeal when you're submitting the paperwork - essentially why it is important for you to bring her over and that her english is poor... etc.

I have read the topic related about how to bring maid here and saw some recommendation to contact maid agency. Then I did contact some agencies but they said the test is a must. Any recommendation which maid agency should i contact to.
