Hi everyone,
I am 6 weeks pregnant and struggling to do anything. It's only me and my husband. He works long hours so by the time he gets back home, he is already too tired to do cooking. I managed to walk to local kopitiam today to get my lunch but it was hard work as I feel tired all the time.
I am thinking to use home food delivery service, so then we don't have to keep order take away and we can eat variety of hot food.
Anybody has suggestion for a company doing this? We prefer to eat healthy food.
Thank you

Thanks for your nice and supportive message SMS!
I should't post anything here if I get a destructive message like this.

Hi, first of all, congratulations!
I understand your feeling. Some women, my wife as well, easily feel tired during pregnancy even at early stage.
Although I do not know any home food delivery service in SG, I just did a simple search on internet and I found a few of them. One of the sites I find quite useful is
http://www.hungrygowhere.com/singapore/food_delivery/. You can even choose different cuisines.

If you don't mind local food 5 days a week for dinner, google "Tingkat Delivery". They usually include rice, meat, veg and a soup.
Or as someone mentioned, hungrygowhere.com or cuisinexpress.com for restaurant/cafe food.
The internet is your best friend at the moment. If you type key words like "catering, food delivery etc" you will find what you need.
There are other forums (local) besides this that can give you a more comprehensive list. I use them when I feel the need for Indian food, Pizzas and even Dim Sum!
Happy searching and oh... Congratulations!

Honestly SMS! The first trimester can be hell... Or are you again thinking everyone has it just like you? Sheesh!
Carla, would you like meals delivered or just a good provisioner or both?

Hi MinSG and Dazzlebabe - thank you for your responses
After googling around, we found some home catering services. Today is our first day using Mom's Kitchen. The food is quite good with loads of variety too.
Dazzlebabe - internet is your best friend indeed! I have been using internet for everything

Hi RNT,
I guess SMS has never been pregnant before, lol. Therefore he doesn't know the pain that most pregnant women have to go through.

I sailed through my pregnancies, no morning sickness, no nothing ~ but have friends who definitely suffered. SMS's just a cantankerous old curmudgeon on his best days. Like all things old, he packs a lot of wisdom, so we put up with it...
